Kalev’s Bio
Hello, my name is Kalev (www.kalevtraining.com), and I hope I can take a minute of your time to tell you why I love my job. Every day I go to the gym, hang out with my amazing staff, and I have the honor of helping people to feel better about their bodies. Have you guessed my job? I am a personal trainer and the founder of Kalev Personal Training, a company offering a unique approach to personal training.
A lot of people are nervous to start personal training because they think it will be challenging. I can relate to that – my own journey to personal training had its challenges. I had a good start as a little kid: my father put me in skates from the time I could walk! I stayed active as a self-conscious teenager, pumping iron as I worried that my teenage body wasn’t big enough. I took my body and health for granted, assuming that I would always be active.
Everything changed when my life hit a rough patch: a serious motorcycle accident left me in a wheelchair for over 3 months. Those were the longest months of my life. But, there was a bright side: I suddenly wanted to understand how the body worked on a deeper level. As my health improved, I pursued an education in physiotherapy, which led to my career in personal training.
Personal training opened up the world for me. I travelled the globe as a personal trainer, working with clients in incredible places: from the six star “Palazzo Versace Resort” in Australia to the “Paradise Village Resort” in Mexico. After a lot of globetrotting, I was ready to settle down and start my own business. I came to Vancouver and founded Kalev Personal Training.
I have been a personal trainer for over 9 years, and I still love my work. My staff and I have created a unique approach to training. We call it the “3 Dimensional” approach. In 3D training, we give you a team of specialists: a cardio specialist, a weight training specialist, and a nutritionist, all for about the same cost as one personal trainer. Plus, you receive access to a network of health & wellness professionals through our partnership program.

Sam’s Bio
Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to read my bio. We hope you’re enjoying the site and all the great content that is coming your way.
My story to develop this series with Kalev goes al the way back to highschool. My dad wasn’t around to teach me sports so I had a bit of a rough go when it came to team sports in school….that is until I discovered weight training and eating well.
My interest grew through into university where I studied Human Nutrition at UBC and followed that with a degree in Kinesiology at the world renown Simon Fraser University in BC Canada.
As a health and wellness coach and a hard core passion for gym’in, it has been my greatest dream come true to finally produce a series of web projects which are devoted to health, wellness and training. I want to do everything in my power to show you how to get ripped!
In fact, earlier last year I developed a very popular group on Facebook called Weight Loss and Training Tips. Because of it’s huge success I also launched the correlated web site called Weight Loss and Training (http://weightlossandtraining.com) which is now getting in excess of 150,000 unique visitors every month!
